“There is a Stop”.
Veterans Park/Lake Fayetteville Trail
Tabetha Meadors says: “Veterans Park/Lake Fayetteville trail is loaded with Pokestops. They are lit almost all day with lures. You can find all kinds of Pokemon. Most common are magikarp, goldeen, venonat, slowpoke, weedle, caterpie, pidgey, rattata, psyduck, bellsprout, spearow, and bulbasaur.”
Melissa Potter has given us a full backpack worth of tips! Here are some of them:
“A bunch in just 4 blocks off Emma!
- Post office
- Fire station right next to it
- Art museum
- Salvation army
- Another if you turn right at the 4-way stop. It’s by the bank and usually has a good pokemon hanging out.
Shiloh Museum Area
- “The Shiloh museum has one at the old cabin.
- The church up the road is another.
- And right after the church turn left. There is another Pokestop in the little bitty old apartment building.”
George’s Live Haul
Melissa Potter: “I know of an Eevee herd that was over by George’s at the dead end of Pleasant St. My daughter Naveen caught 5 their in just two minutes! We are sinking in Evee.”
Old Walmart (Pleasant St. & Robinson Ave.)
Melissa Potter: “Also a pokebro is at the right side parking lot of the neighborhood Wal-Mart off Robinson. Dratini isn’t there as they say.”
Springdale PD – Spring St.
Melissa Potter: “The Police station has a Pokestop by it. Also a rock seat on the other side.” However… “the Picachu they were saying was at the Springdale PD wasn’t ever there…. But there is a good one hiding over there somewhere…..I will give u hint….he wears his mother’s skull. (I haven’t found him yet but if someone does PLEASE let me know!)”
Melissa Potter: “AQ Chicken is also a Pokestop in Springdale.”
Rhea tells us: “NWACC (Northwest Arkansas Community College) in Bentonville has 7 stops, 2 gyms and another gym close by”.
Van Buren Municipal Park
Chad Pagel tells us: “The Van Buren Municipal Park is an awesome place to go if you are looking to evolve your magikarp to a gyarados. I also have seen a dratini more than 3 times and have caught it once. Unfortunately there are only 2 Pokestops but if you walk the trail you will catch what I mentioned above.”
Mac Dilley says: “Main Street Van Buren Arkansas and UAFS Campus is full of PokeStops and many rare Pokemons. Possible Squirtle Nest there”.
Downtown Fort Smith / Fort Smith National Historic Site
Chad Pagel also tells us: “Downtown Fort Smith or the Fort Smith National Historic Site, I would say have around 5 gyms and around 30 poke stops in the area. It’s great for stocking up on all your items and also catching Pokemon. I have caught scythers, squirtles, slowbros, and many more!”
Kristie Boucher Moore: “Caught a Dratini Friday night at Riverfront park in Fort Smith”.
IHOP – Rogers Ave.
Neil Packer Jr. says: “There is a massive spawn area at IHOP in Fort Smith. There’s always like 4 to 7 pokemon there every 15 minutes. I caught a Magmar, Cubone, like 7 Clefairys, and tons of regulars there one night in the 45 minutes I was out back.”
Crystal tells us: “I have an update on the gyms and pokestops for Eureka Springs. Here is a list of just some of them:
Pine Mountain Tower
Gaskins Switch Shopping Area
Eureka Springs Fire Department on Highway 62
The Village Writing School on 23 South
First Christian Family Church on 23 South
First Methodist Church on 23 South
Kimber West tells us: “There are at least 20 stops in downtown Siloam, most of the businesses purchase modules. It’s a great walk and there are tons of Pokemon there as well. If you walk the walking trail, it will take you through town and the park where there is a river. Continue through the park on the trail and takes you to John Brown University where there are 7-8 stops as well as quite a few pokemon . And there are a few gyms also.”
