The Fayetteville Natural Heritage Association held its 2nd Annual Kessler Gala & Old-Tyme Medicine Show this past Sunday, April 24th.
The event featured food and fiddle tunes at the Pratt Place Barn on West Markham Road.
Fayetteville Mayor Lionel Jordan spoke about the importance of Earth Day and Mount Kessler. Northwest Arkansas Land Trust Executive Director Terri Lane also spoke about growing up on Mount Kessler.
All proceeds from the event go toward settling the Fayetteville Natural Heritage Foundation’s commitment to the city of Fayetteville for preserving Kessler Mountain. The FNHA has been instrumental in preserving Mount Kessler as a trail destination, biological treasure, classroom, laboratory, and forest.
If you missed the event, but would still like to donate, you can do so at fayettevillenatural.org. All contributions to FNHA’s Mt. Kessler Fund are tax-deductible.
The Fayetteville Natural Heritage Association is dedicated to preserving the natural areas in and around Fayetteville for future generations.
